Biography

Camilo Uribe serves as CEO of Engie Colombia, spearheading the company's operations and strategic development. With over two decades of leadership experience in global energy companies, he is deeply committed to the energy transition. Prior to his current role, Uribe was Head of Strategic Origination & Asset Management for ENGIE North America. His extensive career also includes leadership positions at AES Corporation, General Motors, and British Petroleum. Uribe co-founded the Colombian Hydrogen Association and actively promoted renewable energy as a Principal Director of the Colombian Renewable Association. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and a Postgraduate Diploma in Finance, with executive studies from Harvard Business School.
