Carlos Mendive

Carlos Mendive is the Managing Director of Peninsula Rentals Uruguay, a division of Peninsula Investment Group, based in Montevideo. He joined Peninsula in 2014 to establish a new business line focused on acquiring homes for rent. Previously, Mr. Mendive served as the first President of the Agencia Nacional de Vivienda (ANV) from 2007 to 2012, where he was responsible for administering a substantial portfolio of nearly 70,000 mortgaged homes. He holds an MSc in Urban and Regional Planning Studies from the London School of Economics and a Major in Economics from Universidad Torcuato di Tella.
