Biography

Jae Yoon serves as Chief Investment Officer of New York Life Insurance Company and is Chairman of New York Life Investments Asia. As CIO, he oversees the investment performance of strategies managed by New York Life Investment Management's boutiques and affiliate portfolio teams, and chairs the Investment Governance Committee. He also leads the Multi-Asset Solutions team, responsible for multi-asset strategies, asset allocation, and economic analysis. Mr. Yoon plays a key role in developing New York Life Investments' business strategy in Asia. Prior to joining New York Life in 2010, he held leadership roles in quantitative research, risk management, and performance at Western Asset Management, Merrill Lynch Investment Managers, and JP Morgan Securities. He earned a BS in Electrical Engineering and an MS in Operations Research from Cornell University and is a CFA charterholder.
