Ganesan Visvabharathy

Ganesan Visvabharathy, also known as Dr. Vish, serves as Founder, Chairman & CEO of Hawthorne Development Corporation. With over four decades of experience in real estate, he established Villas Development in 1982, which evolved into Hawthorne Development in 2002. Dr. Visvabharathy is a recognized pioneer in net-zero green and sustainable development, committed to "Green building, green energy and green living." His career highlights include the conversion of Chicago's former Standard Oil headquarters into condos and developing the Meru Campus of Care, Virginia's largest Net Zero Green Senior Project. He earned a PhD from the University of Illinois, an MBA, and a BS in engineering from the University of Madras.
