Thomas McGonagle

Thomas McGonagle is a Partner in Ares Real Estate, specializing in U.S. industrial real estate equity portfolio management. Previously, he served as Senior Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager of Black Creek Industrial Fund LP, where he oversaw the platform's operations, strategy, due diligence, and dispositions. Black Creek Group's U.S. real estate investment advisory business was acquired by Ares Management in July 2021. His extensive background includes leadership roles at MacDermid Inc., Vistar Corporation, Babcock & Brown LP, and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette / Credit Suisse. Mr. McGonagle holds a B.A. in Economics and an M.B.A. from Dartmouth College Tuck School of Business.
