Wayne Johnson

Wayne Johnson is the President and Chief Investment Officer at SmartStop Asset Management and SmartStop Self Storage REIT, Inc.. With over three decades of experience in commercial real estate, he plays a pivotal role in the company's investment strategies and acquisitions, particularly within the self-storage sector. Johnson previously served as Chief Investment Officer and Senior Vice President of Acquisitions for SmartStop Self Storage. He is also a past President of the Texas Self Storage Association (TSSA). Mr. Johnson earned his B.B.A. in Finance and Real Estate from Southern Methodist University. He is recognized for his integrity and expertise in expanding SmartStop's portfolio across the U.S. and Canada.
