Ian Hancock

Ian Hancock is the Founder and CEO of HM Equity Management, a U.S.-based real estate investment and property management company specializing in Texas multi-family apartment communities. He founded the firm in 2006 after moving from London, England, where he built a significant property portfolio. With real estate investment experience since 1995, Hancock has been instrumental in acquiring 26 multi-family apartment communities and selling 12 across Texas, and currently manages 14 communities with 2,600 units. He is a professionally qualified Chartered Surveyor with a BSc (Hons) in Estate Management from the University of Reading (UK) and was recognized as the Texas Apartment Association Owner/Operator of the Year.
