Mark Ellman

Mark Ellman is President & Principal of Celestial Capital Group, which he founded in 1994, succeeding a predecessor company. A seasoned finance professional, he previously served as Vice Chairman Global Origination at Bank of America/Merrill Lynch and was a founding partner at Value Properties, Inc., Oppenheimer Properties, Inc., and Barrett Ellman Stoddard Capital Partners. Ellman practiced law for 11 years before transitioning to real estate investment in 1981. He holds a B.A. in economics from the University of Pennsylvania, a J.D. (cum laude) from Fordham University School of Law, and an L.L.M. in taxation from New York University of Law. He is a licensed real estate broker and securities principal and serves on Aegon's Board, chairing the Compensation and Human Resource Committee.
