Andrew Batsakis
Biography
Andrew Batsakis is the Associate Director External Investments at the University of Sydney Endowment, where he leads and has managed the private equity and venture capital program since its inception in 2006. With over two decades of experience, he is responsible for portfolio construction and manager selection across various private market strategies, including buyouts, growth equity, venture capital, special situations, and secondaries, with a strong U.S. focus. This program accounts for approximately 30% of the University's $3 billion endowment. A senior member of the investment office, his expertise also spans public equities, hedge funds, and real assets.
