Robbert-Jan van Baal
Biography
Robbert-Jan van Baal is a member of Barings Alternative Investments, a global real estate, private equity and real asset platform. Robbert-Jan is Head of Real Estate Acquisitions for Benelux. Based in the Netherlands, he is responsible for transactions and overall asset and project management of Barings properties and those acquired on behalf of Barings clients located in the region. In addition, he serves on the European/Asia Pacific Investment Committee. Prior to joining Barings, Robbert-Jan was Head of Asset Management, Netherlands for AXA Investment Managers – Real Assets, responsible for all AXA IM assets. Robbert-Jan holds a masters of science degree in Real Estate from Amsterdam School of Real Estate.
