Gilberto Sotelo
Biography
Gilberto has over 20 years of professional experience in Investment Banking. His experience encompasses a diversity of disciplines, including M&A, strategic advisory, debt, alternative and equity !nancing. Before founding Alea Capital, Gilberto was a Managing Director of Investment Banking with Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Mexico. Before that, he worked for 14 years at J.P. Morgan, where he was the Head of Investment Banking in Mexico. He participated in several of Mexico´s largest and most relevant transactions. His experience with J.P. Morgan includes !ve years based in New York, providing advice in the Latin American energy sector.
