Biography

Andres Moreno CFA, is the CIO of Afore SURA, one of the leading pension funds in Mexico with USD 29bn AuM. Prior to his current position, he was senior PM of fixed income and fx, since he joined SURA in 2014. Andres has more than 14 years of experience in the finance industry in Mexico, particularly in the pension fund industry in firms like Afore XXI, HSBC Asset Management, and BBVA Bank where he was Trading Director heading the Credit desk. Andres is an economist from the “Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México” (ITAM) and holds an MBA from Columbia University in New York.
