André Luis Gonçalves is the Diretor Presidente of FERROESTE - Estrada de Ferro Paraná Oeste S.A. A civil engineer with a specialization in environmental management, he assumed this role in 2019, having been reconfirmed in 2023. Under his leadership, Ferroeste transitioned from a deficit to achieving consistent operational profits and record revenues, significantly contributing to the modernization and expansion of Paraná's railway and logistics infrastructure. His extensive background includes strategic management and leadership roles in organizations like AGF System, CREA/PR, and Sinduscon, underscoring his deep expertise in infrastructure development and efficiency.

FERROESTE - Estrada de Ferro Paraná Oeste S.A. é uma sociedade mista, com o Governo do Paraná como acionista majoritário, criada em 1988. Opera 248,6 km de ferrovia entre Cascavel e Guarapuava, conectando-se ao Porto de Paranaguá. Transporta grãos, carnes, derivados de petróleo, cimento e fertilizantes. Iniciou operações em 1995 e se modernizou com novos materiais. Está em desestatização e expansão para 1.567 km, ligando Maracaju a Paranaguá, com investimento de R$ 33,4 bilhões.
