Nicolas Escallon
Biography
Nicolas Escallon is a Partner, Energy Infrastructure at Actis, and serves as Managing Director and Co-Head of the Latin America region for Actis' Energy Infrastructure franchise. Based in São Paulo, Brazil, he is crucial in sourcing, executing, and managing Actis' energy transition investments across Latin America. Joining Actis in 2011, Nicolas has been instrumental in numerous flagship projects, including Orygen Energia, Serena Energia, Atlas Renewable Energy, and Saavi Energia. Prior to Actis, he was an investment banker at Citigroup, specializing in energy and infrastructure. He holds a BSc in Economics from Universidad de Los Andes and an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
