Biography

Milton Roberto Persoli serves as the Director General of ARTESP – Agência de Transporte do Estado de São Paulo. Appointed in June 2020 for a four-year term, Persoli brings over 40 years of professional experience in public management, particularly in transportation and urban mobility. He is an industrial engineer from Universidade Mackenzie with a postgraduate degree in Traffic and Transport from the University of São Paulo (USP). Prior to ARTESP, he held significant roles including Director of Operations and President of Companhia de Engenharia de Tráfego (CET), President of Desenvolvimento Rodoviário S/A (Dersa), and Deputy Secretary of the Secretariat of Logistics and Transport. At ARTESP, his priorities include addressing regulatory liabilities in contracts, advancing airport concessions, and modernizing the intermunicipal transport system. Persoli is committed to enhancing the agency's efficiency in future projects and ensuring contracts prioritize user interests.
