Jonny Kurtz

Jonny Kurtz serves as the President of BNPETRO Holding Brasil S/A, a pioneering Strategic Defense Company renowned for its unique technology in sustainably converting urban and industrial solid waste into high-value hydrocarbons. With over 20 years of experience in the energy sector, Mr. Kurtz has significantly contributed to developing national and international projects. He founded BNPETRO and was recognized among the "100 Most Influential in Energy of the Decade" in 2021 for his impactful leadership and innovation. He also presides over Sociedade Hidrovia Rio Itajaí-Açu (Sohria) and is a Vice-President and founder of the Brazilian Association of Solid Waste and Hydrogen Energy (ABERS), underscoring his commitment to sustainable energy and environmental solutions.
